According to the invention, coal gangue, carbide slag and papermaking white mud in ceramsite manufacturing raw materials are all solid waste, and the mixing amount of the coal gangue in the raw materials is higher than 90%, so that the problems that the coal gangue pollutes the earth surface and the atmosphere and wastes land are effectively solved, and resource utilization of the waste can be effectively achieved; and the ceramsite prepared by the method is simple in formula, low in stacking density, high in cylinder compressive strength, simple in formula and low in raw material cost, and the technological process is adopted.
