The invention relates to the field of engineering construction and especially relates to highway pavement joint cutting equipment. The equipment comprises a cutting mechanism, a cutting transmission mechanism, and a cleaning driving mechanism, wherein the cutting mechanism is arranged on a side portion of a cart and includes a first cutting saw blade disc and a second cutting wheel; the first cutting saw blade disc is used for cutting a pavement; the second cutting wheel is positioned on a front side of the first cutting saw blade disc; the cutting transmission mechanism is arranged on the side of the cutting mechanism and is used for driving the first cutting saw blade disc and the second cutting wheel to carry out cutting work, and driving the second cutting wheel to be in a contact or non-contact state with the pavement; and the cleaning driving mechanism is arranged on the cart, an output end of the cleaning driving mechanism is in transmission connection with the cutting transmission mechanism, a working state is used for switching and the working state includes a cutting state or a static state. In the invention, whether the second cutting wheel makes contact with the pavement or not is controlled through the cutting transmission mechanism, residual substances at corners of the pavement are treated in advance when the second cutting wheel makes contact with the pavement,and a cutting effect of a cutting blade is improved.
