When a fire hydrant is subjected to impact force in the horizontal direction, the negative effect caused by the impact force is reduced in a rotating mode, meanwhile, a motor isused for driving a valve for closing water inlet, after the impact is finished, a key can be used for automatic resetting, meanwhile, the water inlet valve is opened again to return to the initial state, and the maintenance cost is reduced while the water resource is protected.
