The invention provides a light partition wall and a construction method thereof. The light partition wall comprises a first wall body matched with an indoor wall as well as a plurality of second wallbodies and third wall bodies, wherein the first wall body, the second wall bodies and the third wall bodies are sequentially arranged from left to right; the right side surface of the first wall bodyand the right side surfaces of the second wall bodies are provided with a plurality of connecting columns at equal distance from top to bottom; glue injection cavities are arranged in the connecting columns; openings are formed in the right side surfaces of the connecting columns; the openings communicate with the glue injection cavities; extrusion columns are embedded into the openings; glue injection holes are formed in left ends of the peripheral side walls of the connecting columns; two rows of glue overflow holes are formed in the peripheral side walls of the connecting columns at equal distance; and a plurality of connecting slots which are matched with the connecting columns are formed in the left side surfaces of the second wall bodies and the third wall bodies from top to bottom at equal distance. The light partition wall can guarantee tightness of butt-joint partition wallboards, and joints in the partition walls through a mechanical structure.
