The invention provides road surface roughening treatment equipment and treatment process for road construction. The equipment comprises a roughening rack, a lifting unit and an adjusting unit. Linkagethrough holes are evenly formed in the inner wall of the lower end of the roughening rack from left to right, the lifting unit is installed on the inner wall of the roughening rack, and the adjustingunit is arranged on the inner wall of the lower end of the roughening rack; the lifting unit is additionally arranged, and the lifting unit makes a gouge rod ascend and descend in a unified mode during roughening machining so that roughening quality is guaranteed, manual chiseling is replaced, and working efficiency is improved; the adjusting unit and a clamping branch chain are additionally arranged on the basis of the lifting unit, and the clamping branch chain is matched with the lifting unit to improve the lifting stability of the chiseling rod during roughening machining; and the adjusting unit is matched with the lifting unit to adjust a distance between the chiseling rods so that uniformity of roughening treatment is guaranteed, unnecessary workloads are reduced, and cost is saved.
