The invention discloses a rectangular frame column construction method adopting template chamfering. The construction method comprises the steps of bonding a steel reinforcement framework of one rectangular frame column and hoisting a middle formwork between the two rectangular frame columns; hoisting two side templates, and fixing a middle template with an end of a side template surface by usingfinish rolling deformed steel bars; hoisting an end template and fixing the end template with the side template surface in a cable-stayed manner; pouring concrete to form a rectangular frame column; and manufacturing another rectangular frame column according to the method and the like. The rectangular frame column construction method adopting template chamfering has the advantages that under thecondition that the two rectangular frame columns are arranged at a short distance, a separated construction and combined reinforcement mode is adopted, the machining difficulty of the template is reduced, the construction progress of the rectangular frame columns is accelerated, the construction period is shortened, conditions are provided for the pier column chamfering construction process, and the purposes of economical saving, quality guaranteeing and construction progress accelerating are achieved.
