The invention discloses a self-embedded landscape retaining wall. The self-embedded landscape retaining wall comprises a lower concrete layer and an irrigation water tank, wherein multiple layers of vertically stacked building blocks are arranged above the lower concrete layer along one side of a wall body, an upper concrete layer is pressed at the top end of the building block located on the toplayer in a covered manner, a plant planting hole is formed in each building block and close to the front end of the building block, an irrigating overflow pipe is inserted and fixed into each buildingblock, one end of each irrigating overflow pipe communicates with the corresponding plant planting hole, and the other end is arranged at the front end of the building block in penetrating manner andextends outwards to reach the position above the plant planting hole on the lower layer; and the irrigation water tank is arranged at the top end of the upper concrete layer and connected with the awater outlet pipe, and the end, away from the irrigation water tank, of the water outlet pipe extends to the position above the plant planting hole in the building block located on the top layer. According to the self-embedded landscape retaining wall, the irritating overflow pipes on the upper layers irrigate landscape plants on the lower layers layer by layer, manual irrigation by an irrigationwater wheel is not needed, time and labors are saved, and besides, the landscape maintenance cost is saved.
