The invention discloses a locking mechanism, a shopping cart lock and a shopping cart. The locking mechanism comprises a base, a pivotal lock catch, a first elastic part and a locking assembly. The pivotal lock catch is arranged on the base and can pivot between the unlocking position and the locking position. When the pivotal lock catch is at the locking position, a lock hole in a closed state isdefined between the pivotal lock catch and the base. When the pivotal lock catch rotates to the unlocking position from the locking position, the lock hole is switched to an opened state from the closed state. The first elastic part is arranged between the pivotal lock catch and the base and normally drives the pivotal lock catch to pivot towards the unlocking position. The locking assembly is arranged between the base and the pivotal lock catch and is configured to the state that when the pivotal lock catch pivots to the locking position, the locking assembly and the pivotal lock catch are switched to a blocking state from a non-blocking state so as to prevent the pivotal lock catch from rotating towards the unlocking position. According to the locking mechanism, non-normal unlocking ofthe pivotal lock catch can be avoided, and the reliability of a lock adopting the locking mechanism can be improved.
