The invention provides a water pump management and control method of a foundation pit dewatering system. The foundation pit dewatering system comprises a pumping well and an observation well. A watersuction pump is arranged in the pumping well. According to the method, a remote control terminal, a data receiving and transmitting terminal, a wireless instruction module and wireless acquisition modules are arranged, and water pressure meters, a flow meter and a current sensor are mounted on the pumping well, the observation well, a drainage pipeline and a water pump control module correspondingly. All the wireless acquisition modules are used for acquiring working currents of the water suction pump, the drainage flow of the drainage pipeline and the water pressure in the pumping well and the observation well and uploading acquired data to the remote control terminal through the data receiving and transmitting terminal. The remote control terminal judges the working condition and the drainage status of the water suction pump according to the acquired data and issues a corresponding water pump control instruction to the data receiving and transmitting terminal in good time, and the data receiving and transmitting module sends the instruction to the water pump control module through the wireless instruction module. The method is suitable for foundation pit dewatering operation management and control.
