The invention discloses a stay cable/suspension cable surface spraying device which comprises an arc rotating platform fixed on a stay cable/suspension cable detection robot, a telescopic mechanism mounted on the arc rotating platform and a spraying module mounted on the telescopic mechanism, and the arc rotating platform can drive the telescopic mechanism to rotate around a stay cable/suspensioncable by 360 degrees; and the telescopic mechanism can enable the spraying module to get close to and away from the surface of the stay cable/suspension cable in the radial direction, the device can be carried by the stay cable/suspension cable detection robot to move to a certain height, and spraying treatment of the whole circle of the surface of the stay cable/suspension cable is completed. Thestay cable/suspension cable surface spraying device solves the problems that a PE protective layer on the surface of an existing stay cable/suspension cable is damaged, and protrusions cannot be removed.
