The invention relates to ultrahigh-density ballasting concrete and a method for determining a construction mix proportion. Each cubic meter of concrete comprises the following components in parts by mass: 0.20-0.30 part of water, 0.45-0.65 part of cement, 2.5-2.9 parts of coarse aggregate, 3.0-3.4 parts of fine aggregate and 0.004-0.006 part of a water reducing agent, wherein the coarse aggregateadopts a second metal material, the particle size of the second metal material is 5-37.5 mm, and the apparent density of the second metal material is not less than 6700 kg/m<3>; the fine aggregate comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 60-70% of iron beads and 30-40% of iron powder. The technical problem that the apparent density of ballasting concrete is low in the prior art can be solved.
