The invention relates to a rainwater source regulation and storage system for sponge city. The rainwater source regulation and storage system comprises a water storage pool and a desilting mechanism,wherein a water inlet opening is formed in the side wall of the water storage pool, the water storage pool comprises a pool body and a base located below the pool body, the pool body and the base areintegrally arranged, the bottom of the water storage pool is in a frustum shape, the bottom end of the water storage pool is open, and a containing cavity is formed in the upper surface of the base; the containing cavity communicates with the inner part of the pool body; the desilting mechanism comprises a desilting assembly, a lifting assembly used for driving the desilting assembly to ascend anddescend and an overturning assembly used for driving the desilting assembly to overturn, the desilting assembly comprises a silt containing box which is placed in the containing cavity and used for allowing silt to settle, and the silt containing box is vertically upward opened; and a discharging sliding way allowing the silt to slid out is formed in the side wall of the water storage pool, and the end of the discharging sliding way extends into the water storage pool. The system has the advantages that silt in the water storage pool can be removed, and the possibility of blockage caused by accumulation of a large amount of silt is reduced.
