The invention discloses a construction method for an urban sewage pump. The construction method comprises the following steps of step 1) prefabricating a sewage blocking assembly, wherein the sewage blocking comprises a sewage blocking net, a pair of lifting lugs, a pair of balancing weights and a pair of first lifting mechanisms; step 2) prefabricating a plurality of filter assemblies, wherein each filter assembly comprises a filter screen and second lifting mechanisms; step 3) prefabricating a plurality of submersible sewage assemblies, wherein each submersible sewage assembly comprises a base, a submersible sewage pump, a pair of conveying pipes, a pair of stand columns, a pair of guide blocks and a pair of guide shafts; step 4) erecting a barrier plate in a sewage pool, arranging a plurality of flow guide pipes on the barrier plate in a penetrating manner, erecting a platform template on the downstream side of the barrier plate, and pouring concrete; and step 5) mounting the sewageblocking assembly, the filter assemblies and the submersible sewage assembly in the sewage pool. Sewage pump stations of different scales can be constructed on site according to operation environment, discharge capacity requirement and the like.
