The invention relates to a construction method for a light section steel structure for replacing a ring beam constructional column. The construction method comprises the steps that (1), a secondary structure masonry drawing and field measured data are combined to manufacture square steel members; (2), a square steel member assembling dimension drawing is handed to a factory to be manufactured andthen conveyed to the field; (3), stringing is carried out in field according to a construction drawing; (4), square steel bases are installed and directly connected and fixed to an upper floor slab and a lower floor slab through expansion bolts; (5), the upper ends and the lower ends of double-spliced square steel structure columns are connected with the square steel bases respectively through bolts; (6), square steel connecting beams are arranged between the double-spliced square steel structure columns; (7), flanging bar implanting, formwork erecting and concrete pouring are carried out; (8), building blocks are laid for a wall; and (9), laying and subsequent plastering work is completed. According to the construction structure, the square steel is used for replacing structure columns, lintels and connecting beams of reinforced concrete structures, and the assembly building construction technology of carrying out manufacturing in the factory and splicing in field is achieved.
