The invention relates to a stone castable for kiln. The stone castable is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-60 parts of white corundum, 3-6 parts of fused mullite, 10-15parts of sintered magnesia, 1-4 parts of andalusite, 2-5 parts of zirconium zinc silicate powder, 1-3 parts of nano silicon carbide, 20-30 parts of calcium aluminate cement, 3-8 parts of permanent clay, 0.5-1.5 parts of composite rare earth oxide and 0.5-1 part of a water reducing agent. According to the castable produced by the invention, substances such as white corundum, sintered magnesia, andalusite, zinc zirconium silicate powder, nano silicon carbide, composite rare earth oxide and the like are innovatively introduced and can generate a synergistic effect, so that the organization structure of the castable is changed, the volume density of the castable is improved, and the production cost is reduced. In addition, a good improvement effect is achieved on parameters such as compression resistance/fracture resistance; meanwhile, according to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, the performance of the castable is further improved by reasonable baking conditions.
