The invention relates to the technical field of pipeline protection, and discloses an ecological protection system suitable for a pipeline in a soil channel area. The ecological protection system comprises a matrix layer, a buffer layer, a transition layer, a root blocking layer and a soil backfill layer which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom, wherein a pipeline is buried in the soil backfill layer; the matrix layer comprises a matrix granular material and soil; the buffer layer comprises soil, sucrose residues, calcium bentonite, super absorbent resin and bamboo fibers; the transition layer comprises soil, trichoderma fungi residues and quartz sand; and the root blocking layer comprises water-soluble polyester emulsion, copper sulfate powder, a leucaena glauca extracting solution and glass fibers. According to the ecological protection system, the comprehensive protection function of a plant system can be utilized, the water erosion and collapse phenomena after pipeline landfill are reduced, the external impact force and the damage effect of plant root systems on the pipeline are reduced, therefore, the pipeline is continuously and stably protected under the pipe-freeprotection condition, and the survival rate of plants can be increased.
