The heat pump system comprises a water source inlet pipe, a first water storage tank, a temperature control water collection unit, a heating unit, a temperature control water distribution unit, a second water storage tank and a water source drainage pipe which are connected in sequence; the first water storage tank is connected with a heat source pipeline connected with the temperature control water collection unit is connected with the first water storage tank, and the heat source pipeline is connected with a heat source water pump. The temperature control water collection unit is connected with a heating water inlet pipe connected with the heating unit. The end, away from the heating water inlet pipe, of the heating unit is connected with a heating water outlet pipe, and the heating water outlet pipe is connected with the temperature control water distribution unit; the temperature control water distribution unit is connected with a cold circulating pipe and a heat circulating pipe; and thecold circulating pipe communicates with the second water storage tank, and the heat circulating pipe is connected with the temperature control water collection unit. The heat pump system has the effects that water passing through a heating chamber but still having heat energy can be reused for heating, and waste of heat energy and the operation cost of the heat pump system are reduced.
