Method for producing high-volume-density high-purity sintered magnesia from low-grade magnesite
The invention relates to a method for producing high-volume-density high-purity sintered magnesia from low-grade magnesite. Low-grade magnesite is used as a raw material, high-activity light calcinedmagnesia powder is obtained through flotation purification and light calcination in a suspension furnace, then a self-prepared composite efficient additive is added for further activation, ultrahigh-activity composite magnesia powder is obtained, and high-volume-density high-purity sintered magnesia is obtained through high-temperature calcination after high-pressure pelletizing of mixed materials. The method has the beneficial effects that (1) the problem that high-quality high-purity high-volume-density magnesium oxide is difficult to produce by taking existing low-grade magnesite as a raw material and adopting a traditional direct calcination method is solved; and 2) the volume density of the high-purity high-volume-density sintered magnesia produced by the method can reach 3.35 g/cm<3>, the highest volume density can reach 3.40 g/cm<3>, the highest MgO purity can reach 98.5%, and the product performance index reaches or is even superior to the product standard of foreign first-class enterprises.
本发明涉及一种用低品位菱镁矿生产高体密高纯烧结镁砂的方法,以低品位菱镁矿为原料,经过浮选提纯、悬浮炉轻烧得到高活性轻烧氧化镁粉,再添加自配复合高效添加剂进一步活化得到超高活性复合氧化镁粉,混料高压成球后通过高温煅烧得到高体密高纯烧结镁砂。其有益效果是:1)解决了以现有低品位菱镁矿为原料采用传统的直接煅烧法很难生产出优质的高纯高体密氧化镁问题;2)采用本发明方法生产出的高纯高体密烧结镁砂的体积密度可以达到3.35g/cm3,最高可达3.40g/cm3,MgO纯度最高可以做到98.5%,产品性能指标达到甚至优于国外一流企业产品标准。
