The invention discloses a road greening isolation belt for a sponge city. The road greening isolation belt comprises two curb bodies which are symmetrically arranged along the center of a road. A liquid storage cavity is formed in the side wall of each curb body, a liquid pumping cavity communicated with the liquid storage cavity is formed in the side wall of each curb body, a first one-way valveis installed at the communication position of each liquid storage cavity and each liquid pumping cavity, a sliding plug made of magnetic materials is connected into each liquid pumping cavity in a sealed and sliding mode, and a second one-way valve is installed on each sliding plug. The invention further provides a construction method of the greening isolation belt for the sponge city. The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, an isolation belt is preset; S2, pavement construction is carried out; S3, a maintenance pipe is pre-buried; S4, soil filling is carried out; and S5, green plants are planted. Dust outside the pipe is pumped into the pipe, and the amount of raised dust is greatly reduced; and kinetic energy generated by passing vehicles is used for adsorbing thedust to replace a watering cart for watering and dust removal, so that the water resource consumption in a city is greatly reduced, energy is saved, and the environment is protected.
