The invention discloses a hanging structure of a unit-type curtain wall decorative plates. The hanging structure comprises a composite column and a decorative plate. A hanging shaft is arranged on theside near an external decorative surface, of the composite column in a penetrating mode. A connecting part is arranged on the hanging shaft in a hanging and clamping mode. The decorative plate is connected with the connecting part in an inserting and clamping mode. The invention also discloses the assembly method of the hanging structure of the unit-type curtain wall decorative plates. By installing the hanging shaft on the composite column, and connecting the decorative plate and the connecting part which can connect with the hanging shaft in a hanging and clamping mode in an inserting and clamping mode, the decorative plate can quickly connect with the composite column in a hanging and clamping mode through the connecting part, and the assembly efficiency of the unit-type curtain wall decorative plates are effectively improved. And the connecting part which is of a T-shaped structure connects with the composite column through a first connecting part, and connects with the decorativeplate through a second connecting part. The structure is compact, the space compactness of a curtain wall system is improved, and at the same time, the potential safety hazard of loosening or even falling off at a connecting position of the curtain wall decorative plates affected by wind pressure is avoided.
