The invention discloses a laying and positioning mechanism for a building ground decoration laying device. The laying and positioning mechanism comprises a transmission mechanism, a limiting mechanism, decorative plates and a material guiding mechanism. The end head of the upper end surface of the transmission mechanism is fixedly connected with the material guiding mechanism used for feeding. Theupper end surface of the transmission mechanism is slidably clamped with the limiting mechanism for positioning. The inner end surface of the limiting mechanism is uniformly and equidistantly movablyclamped with the decorative plates. Due to the arrangement of the transmission mechanism, the limiting mechanism and the material guiding mechanism, the precision of feeding and positioning the decorative plates can be effectively improved, and the subsequent laying efficiency of the decorative plates is accordingly improved. In addition, belt transmission is adopted as the transmission mode, sothat the transmission response speed is extremely high, the manufacturing cost is low, and the precision and efficiency of positioning during feeding and laying of the decorative plates are effectively improved.
