The invention discloses a hydroelectric power generation speed changing device, which comprises a dam, a water channel arranged at the bottom end of the inner cavity of the dam in the left-right direction, a speed changing mechanism located at the top end of the water channel and arranged in the inner cavity of the dam, a speed reducing mechanism arranged at the bottom end of the inner cavity of the speed changing mechanism, a lifting mechanism arranged on the left side of the dam, and a power generator located on the upper surface of the dam and arranged at the top end of the speed changing mechanism. According to the invention, the hydroelectric power generation speed changing device can adjust the rotating speed of output power according to the water storage capacity and the water flowspeed of a power station, ensures stable power generation voltage of the generator, avoids the problem that the generator set is difficult to push to generate power due to low water storage capacity,prevents the hydropower station from influencing normal power supply due to insufficient water supply, and promotes increase of power generation capacity.
