The invention discloses an automatic cleaning device for a building curtain wall. The device comprises a cleaning machine, and a cleaning cavity with a leftward opening is formed at the lower side ofa cleaning box; a cleaning device body is arranged in the cleaning cavity; the cleaning device body comprises the cleaning machine which is arranged in the cleaning cavity and can move up and down; according to the automatic cleaning device, the curtain wall is firstly cleaned and then scrubbed by the cleaning machine; the cleaning machine is fixed to the outer surface of the curtain wall througha moving device; then the curtain wall is cleaned and dedusted; and a manual scrubbing mode is replaced, accidental dangers are avoided, the life safety of workers is guaranteed accordingly, the device can move up and down and move left and right to scrub all areas of the curtain wall at a time, the device can be adsorbed to the surface of the curtain wall through suction cups, and dangers causedby falling of the device in the scrubbing process are avoided.
