The method is characterized in that a tower column of a cable bent towerof a suspension bridge or a cable-stayed bridge is divided into tower column sections according to requirements; the reinforcement cage of each tower column section is divided into four block reinforcement cages; and after the block reinforcement cages are prefabricated, the block reinforcement cages are conveyed to a designated position at the bottom of the tower column through rotation and hoisting, assembled on site and connected with a tower column section reinforcement cage installed below to obtain the section of the tower column section reinforcement cage, and the steps are repeated tocomplete tower column section reinforcement cage construction. The maximum weight of the reinforcement cage can be reduced, the requirement for the hoisting capacity of a tower crane is reduced, the construction period is shortened, and the cost is reduced.
