The invention relates to a magnesia carbon brick added with polycarbosilane. The magnesia carbon brick is prepared through the following steps: S1, collecting raw materials; S2, mixing the raw materials; S3, adding a curing agent; and S4, sintering the brick. In raw material collection in the step S1, the raw materials are composed of 2-5 parts of clay, 1-3 parts of shale, 1-3 parts of coal gangueand 1-3 parts of coal ash, wherein the clay is sandy clay. In raw material mixing in the step S2, the shale and the coal gangue are subjected to grinding and pulverizing and are then mixed, the obtained mixture is poured into a container, the clay and the coal ash in the S1 are then poured into the container, and stirring is conducted for 20-60 minutes at a speed of 5-150 revolutions per minute.The magnesia carbon brick added with the polycarbosilane has the advantages that the body of the magnesia carbon brick has extremely high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, thermal shock resistance and no wetting by steel slag; a brick sintering process is simple and easy, kiln sintering can be carried out conveniently and quickly, the number of procedures is small, an error-tolerant rate is high during construction and production, production errors are not likely to occur, labor cost is reduced, manufacturing cost is low, and operation is easy; and the brick is very practical.
