The invention discloses a rubber elastic power transmission tower capable of achieving self-resetting, maintenance and ascent of a torsion extension arm, and belongs to the technical field of power transmission lines. A torque limiting assembly can play a role in buffering in the first step, and resists a low-hanging-point rotating arm hinge connecting device to guarantee normal usage of the high-voltage transmission lines. When no safety accident occurs, the torque limiting assembly arranged between a main tower and a low-hanging-point rotating arm is not limited any more only when the forceexceeds a certain degree; the low-hanging-point rotating arm moves relatively under the accident working condition, and a fixing steel rod on the low-hanging-point rotating arm rotates to drive the torsion support extension arm to move; and a laminated rubber steel plate torsion support is twisted to allow the low-hanging-point rotating arm to rotate, and after the low-hanging-point rotating arm rotates, although the horizontal force is basically unchanged, the arm of force of the horizontal force can be greatly reduced, and therefore the safety of the low-hanging-point rotating arm is protected, and the safety of the whole power transmission tower is protected.
