The invention provides a truss for building construction. The truss comprises an outer truss body, an auxiliary truss body, an inner truss body, a rear telescopic connecting beam, a front telescopic connecting beam and an adjusting frame, wherein the truss body above the outer truss body is fixedly connected with the upper end of a stand column through a connector; the rear telescopic connecting beam is fixedly connected to the front portion of the outer truss body; the auxiliary truss body is movably connected to the inner side of the outer truss body, and the front end of the auxiliary trussbody is fixedly connected to the rear telescopic connecting beam; the lower side of the front portion of the inner truss body is fixedly connected with a front supporting beam through a connector, the rear side of the front supporting beam on the inner truss body is fixedly connected with a rear supporting beam through a connector, and the front end of the inner truss body is fixedly connected tothe rear telescopic connecting beam; and one end of the adjusting frame is movably connected to the stand column. The combined truss is easy and convenient to splice, convenient to assemble and transport and uniform in bearing capacity, the relative position between two sets of combined truss bodies can be adjusted, the size of the combined truss bodies is changed, and the truss is suitable for building a simple exhibition hall or a framework of a temporary site for supporting.
