The invention relates to a lock for a well lid. The lock for the well lid comprises a shell and a lock cylinder, wherein an inner cavity is formed in the shell, and the shell is provided with a firstopen hole and a second open hole which communicate with the inner cavity; and the lock cylinder is arranged in the inner cavity and provided with a lock hole, the lock hole penetrates through two endsof the lock cylinder, one end of the lock hole communicates with the first open hole, and the other end of the lock hole communicates with the second open hole, or the other end of the lock cylinderis arranged in the second open hole, or the other end of the lock cylinder extends out of the shell through the second open hole. The lock is compact in structure and reasonable in design, the lock cylinder is of a hollow structure, then rainwater, sewage and/or mortar sewage and/or silt and the like flowing through the lock can be drained to the outside of the lock no matter whether the lock is in a locked state or an unlocked state, thus the mechanical and electrical properties of the lock are not affected, the waterproof and damp-proof problems of the lock can be effectively solved, and thelock is especially suitable for the well lid of an inspection well.
