The invention relates to the technical field of road asphalt paving machinery, in particular to a soil stamping machine for road asphalt paving, comprising a mounting flat plate, on which a drive device is mounted, wherein rectangular slots are symmetrically formed in the mounting flat plate, wheel carriers are connected on four corners of the lower end surface of the mounting flat plate, and sideplates are connected on the wheel carriers; traveling wheels are mounted at the lower ends of the wheel carriers, and two power conversion device, each being connected to a soil tamping hammer, are symmetrically connected below the drive device; and the soil tamping hammer is mounted on a U-shaped frame which is fixedly arranged on the center position of the lower end of the mounting flat plate.The soil tamping machine is high in mechanical and automatic degree, can realize dual-tamping effect of ground, is kept to be relatively stable while doubling action area, and effectively avoids side-turning and leaping phenomena as a result of vibrations and acting force such as centrifugal force.
