The invention relates to a supporting structure on a drainage channel soft foundation and a mounting method thereof. The supporting structure is used for supporting a plank road or other spanning structures above the supporting structure, and the supporting structure comprises a steel box used for being placed at the bottom of a drainage channel and a steel frame used for supporting the plank road; the steel box is provided with a through groove allowing water to circulate, and the through groove penetrates through two opposite plate faces of the steel box in the water flowing direction; and the steel frame is fixed above the steel box. According to the supporting structure on the drainage channel soft foundation and the mounting method thereof, the water passing section of the drainage channel can be reduced to a small extent, it is guaranteed that water in the drainage channel smoothly flows through the drainage channel, and the bottom of the drainage channel and an anti-seepage structure cannot be damaged.
