The ticket checking gate comprises two gate main bodies which are symmetrically arranged; a passage isformed between the two gate main bodies; a ticket checking assembly is vertically arranged at the inlet end of each gate main body; a ticket checking opening formed by an opening is formed between each ticket checking assembly and the corresponding gate main body; an identification area for identifying a card ticket is arranged in each ticket checking opening; the front face of each ticket checking assembly is an image collecting face arranged in an inclined face mode; an image collecting component is arranged on the front face of each ticket checking assembly; an image display screen is arranged below each image collecting component. The gate can achieve automatic ticket checking, and can achieve the comparison and recognition of identity certificates. The ticket checking gate has the functions of trailing prevention, passage prompt and the like, can replace manual ticket checking, and greatly improves the ticket checking efficiency.
