The invention discloses a novel expandable shell rock anchor rod device which comprises an expandable shell. The expandable shell comprises at least two connecting feet, the connecting feet and a transverse connecting part integrally formed with the connecting feet and located at the front end are connected into a whole, and inclined planes inclining outwards from left to right are arranged on theinner sides of the connecting feet. A conic body is arranged between the two connecting feet of the expandable shell, the outer surface of the conic body inclines outwards from left to right, a threaded hole is formed in the conic body, a screw rod penetrates through the threaded hole of the conic body to form threaded connection, and the front end of the screw rod abuts against the transverse connecting part. When the screw rod is screwed forwards, the screw rod is blocked by the transverse connecting part at the front end, the conic body moves backwards along the thread trend on the screw rod, and the connecting feet are opened outwards in the backward moving process of the conic body. The anchor rod device is higher in integrity, better in firmness and higher in pulling resistance whenanchored into a hole in a rock wall.
