The invention relates to the technical field of elevator steel wire ropes, and discloses an elevator steel wire rope surface cleaning and lubricating device. The device comprises a device plate body,and cleaning and lubricating mechanisms are arranged on the left and right sides of the device plate body; each cleaning and lubricating mechanism comprises an electric extendable rod, a first fixingframe plate, a second fixing frame plate, a first motor, a first motor shaft, a rotating disc, cleaning brush bristles and fixing bolts. According to the device, through arranging the electric extendable rods, the fixing frame plates, and the motors and the cleaning brush bristles on the fixing frame plate on the device plate body, the electric extendable rods can be used for driving the fixing frame plates to move left and right, and therefore the device is suitable for steel wire ropes with different widths on the two sides; and through the fixing bolts, the second fixing frame plates are fixed to the first fixing frame plates, so that steel wire ropes of different sizes are clamped, the cleaning brush bristles can rotate through the motors and the cleaning brush bristles, and the rotating cleaning brush bristles are used for cleaning the steel wire ropes on the two sides at the same time.
