The positioning structure comprises a first shell, wherein a fourth plate body is welded to the inner side wall of the first shell, second shells are slidably connected to the bottom wall of the interior of the first shell and the upper surface of the fourth plate body, two first through grooves are symmetrically formed in the two sides of the first shell, and one sides of the second shells are slidably connected in the two first through grooves. When the device is operated, first plate bodies and the second shells are pulled out from the interior of the first shell, so that the extending lengths of the first plate bodies on the two sides of the device are consistent, one side of each first plate body abuts against the surface of a building wall body, a second plate body and a marking pen are driven to move upwards through sliding of a rod body in a pipe body, a pushing device moves the markingpen to reserve a marking center line on the top face of a building, the first plate bodies and the second shells slide into the first shell after marking is completed, the rod body is retracted into the pipe body, and convenience and practicability are achieved.
