According to the wood stair tread trimming machine and the using method thereof, a smearing brush can be driven to rotate while a rotating cylinder rotates, wax liquid can be uniformly smeared while the smearing brush rotates, and after the wax liquid is uniformly smeared, the rotating cylinder drivesa polishing wheel to be matched with the wax liquid to polish and grind the stair tread.
