The invention discloses a garbage sweeper for municipal engineering. The garbage sweeper comprises a movable vehicle body and a fixing frame, a first rotating shaft penetrates through the fixing frame, the outer side of the first rotating shaft is sleeved with a sweeping shaft, the outer side of the sweeping shaft is fixedly connected with a plurality of sweeping brushes distributed circumferentially, a motor is installed at the tail end of one side of the first rotating shaft, and the front side and the rear side of the sweeping shaft are sleeved with first transmission wheels; and a first transmission belt is clamped in each first transmission wheel, and a second transmission wheel is clamped on the side, away from the corresponding first transmission wheel, of each first transmission belt. When the garbage sweeper is used, through mutual cooperation of the first rotating shaft, the sweeping shaft, the sweeping brushes and the motor, the motor drives the sweeping brushes to rotate tosweep the ground; garbage swept by the sweeping brushes can be collected through a collecting box, so that workers can conveniently treat the garbage in a unified manner; and a second rotating shaftdrives the collecting box to rotate, the garbage stored in the collecting box can be poured into a mounting box regularly, the number of the garbage in the collecting box is reduced, and garbage storage is facilitated.
