The invention relates to a novel air shield dam, and belongs to the technical field of air shield dams. The novel air shield dam comprises a plurality of shield plates and a plurality of plugging assemblies, wherein each plugging assembly is arranged between every two adjacent shield plates; each plugging assembly comprises a first air bag body and a second air bag body; each first air bag body isfixedly connected with one of the shield plates; each second air bag body is fixedly connected with the adjacent shield plate; each first air bag body and the corresponding second air bag body are mutually jacked and pressed in an inflated state; each first air bag body and the corresponding second air bag body are mutually separated in a shriveled state; and inflating holes are formed in each first air bag body and the corresponding second air bag body. According to the novel air shield dam disclosed by the invention, the air bag bodies are introduced, and through the inflated and shriveledstates of the air bag bodies, the purpose of blocking water and draining water for a river channel is realized, and the fluctuation of a single group of shield plates can also be realized; and the novel air shield dam is high in safety coefficient and simple to operate.
