The invention discloses a novel partition wall batten, and relates to the technical field of buildings. The novel partition wall batten comprises a wall plate body, wherein a plurality of first protrusions are arranged on the top side wall of the wall plate body side by side in parallel, a gap is formed between every two adjacent first protrusions, a plurality of first grooves allowing the first protrusions to be inserted into in a one-to-one correspondence mode are formed in the bottom side wall of the wall plate body, a plurality of through holes penetrating through the first grooves and thefirst protrusions in a one-to-one correspondence mode are formed in the wall plate body in the height direction, second protrusions are arranged in the wall plate body in the height direction, and second grooves allowing the second protrusions to be inserted therein are formed in the side wall, opposite to the second protrusions, of the wall plate body. According to the novel partition wall batten, the problems that in the prior art, in the installation process of the partition wall batten, the construction technology is complex, the construction cost is high, and hollowing, leakage and cracking are prone to occurring on the wall surface in the later period are solved.
