The invention discloses an electric tail door stay bar control method and an electric tail door system. The electric tail door system comprises a signal processing unit, wherein the output end of thesignal processing unit is unidirectionally and electrically connected with a microprocessor control unit; the output end of the microprocessor control unit is unidirectionally and electrically connected with an execution assembly; the output end of the microprocessor control unit is unidirectionally and electrically connected with an electric lock; and the output end of the microprocessor controlunit is unidirectionally and electrically connected with a detection unit. According to the electric tail door stay bar control method and the electric tail door system, two Hall sensors are designedon a stay bar motor, namely a first Hall sensor and a second Hall sensor; different from a traditional single-path Hall signal, the positive and negative rotation of the motor is effectively judged through the two Hall sensors; when an electric tail door control module receives a signal of the first Hall sensor at first, the stay bar motor is represented to rotate positively; otherwise, the stay bar motor is represented to rotate negatively; and through the design, the positive and negative rotation of the stay bar motor is effectively controlled.
