The invention discloses a preparation method of hollow zirconium oxide powder for a thermal barrier coating, which comprises the following steps of: (1) granulation: drying graphite powder and zirconium oxide powder with different granularities, and adding an adhesive to prepare mixed particles with favorable flowability and uniform size; and (2) spheroidizing: treating the mixed particles by using plasma spheroidizing equipment, and melting the zirconium oxide shell to form spherical particles with zirconium oxide shells and graphite sphere centers; and (3) decarburization: heating the spherical particles in the previous step in a vacuum heating furnace, introducing a certain amount of oxygen, reacting the oxygen with the graphite to generate carbon dioxide, removing the graphite in the spheres, and leaving zirconium oxide shells to obtain the hollow zirconium oxide powder. The hollow zirconium oxide powder prepared by the method is characterized in that the powder is of a hollow structure, so that the heat insulation effect of a hot-end part in severe environments such as high-temperature oxidation and high-temperature airflow erosion can be remarkably improved after the hot-endpart is coated with the powder, and the service life of the hot-end part is prolonged.
本发明公开了一种热障涂层用空心氧化锆粉末的制备方法,其工艺方法为,(1)造粒:将不同粒度的石墨粉末和氧化锆粉末,经过干燥、加胶黏剂,制成流动性好、颗粒均匀的混合颗粒。(2)球化:将混合颗粒经过等离子球化设备处理后,使氧化锆外壳熔化,形成具有氧化锆外壳石墨球心的球型颗粒。(3)去碳:将上一步的球形颗粒在真空加热炉中升温后通入一定氧气,使氧气与石墨发生反应,生成二氧化碳,去除球体中的石墨,留下氧化锆外壳,制成空心氧化锆粉末。使用该方法制得的空心氧化锆粉末的特点在于,由于粉末为空心结构,涂覆后能够显著提高热端部件在高温氧化和高温气流冲蚀等恶劣环境中的隔热作用,延长热端部件的使用寿命。
