The invention discloses a barrier gate capable of performing quick passing. The barrier gate comprises a machine base, wherein a main motor is fixed to the machine base and is used for driving a gaterod rack to swing up and down in the vertical direction; the gate rod rack is arranged on one side, away from the marching direction of a vehicle, of the machine base; a gate rod is rotatably arrangedon the gate rod rack; and the gate rod is driven by a driving device to swing around the gate rod rack in the marching direction of the vehicle when the gate rod rack swings upwards. The barrier gatedisclosed by the invention has the advantage that normal passing of the vehicles is not influenced.
