The invention relates to an environment-friendly energy-saving green building. The building comprises a house body; a ventilation layer is arranged at the top of the house body; a plurality of bearingcolumns are fixedly arranged between the top face and the bottom face of the ventilation layer; a water storage tank is arranged on the top face of the ventilation layer; a supporting frame is fixedly arranged above the water storage tank; a green plant area is arranged on the supporting frame; a rainwater collecting device communicated with the water storage tank is arranged on the top surface of the ventilation layer; and an irrigation device is arranged on the rainwater collecting device in a communicated mode and located above the green plant area. The environment-friendly energy-saving green building has the effects of increasing the thermal resistance of indoor and outdoor energy exchange, reducing heat transmitted into a room from a roof, and reducing energy consumption as much aspossible.
