The invention discloses an automatic drainage system for a substation cable trench. The automatic drainage system comprises a hydrological image data receiving device, a data processor, a memory, a real-time hydrological image data transmission device, a network camera, a water level sensor, a drainage pump driving unit and a drainage pump; the data processor is electrically connected with the hydrological image data receiving device, the data processor is connected with the memory, and the network camera is arranged in a cable trench and is connected with the real-time hydrological image datatransmission device; the real-time hydrological image data transmission device is connected with the hydrological image data receiving device through a data link; and the water level sensor is arranged at the lower part of the cable trench, one end of the drainage pump driving unit is connected with the data processor, and the other end of the drainage pump driving unit is connected with the drainage pump. Automatic operation of inspection is achieved, inspection work is greatly facilitated, the work efficiency is improved, and the labor intensity is reduced.
