The invention discloses a safety privacy latch, and relates to the technical field of door stop devices. The safety privacy latch comprises a fixing seat, a fixing hole is formed in the fixing seat, afixing plate is vertically arranged on the fixing seat, grooves are formed in the two sides of the fixing plate, and a rotating shaft is rotatably connected to the end, away from the fixing seat, ofthe fixing plate. According to the safety privacy latch, the fixing seat is fixed to a door frame through fixing screws, namely, the safety privacy latch is installed, and installation is easy; and abarrier plate is rotated to enable the included angle between the barrier plate and the fixing plate to be 90 degrees, namely, a door plate is blocked, so that the door plate can only rotate by a certain angle on the door frame, a user can communicate with people outside the door through a door slot between the opened door plate and the door frame, use is convenient, when the safety privacy latchis not used, the barrier plate is rotated to be clamped in a groove in the fixing plate, and normal opening and closing of the door plate are not affected.
