The invention discloses a grinding method of rare earth-yttrium-lanthanum composite silicon nitride ceramic. The grinding method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing raw materials required tobe ground in the preparation process of the rare earth yttrium-lanthanum composite silicon nitride ceramic; S2, separately taking out large raw materials which are difficult to grind and small raw materials which are easy to grind in the raw materials, and respectively obtaining large crushed materials and small ground materials a; S3, putting the large crushed material and ground material a in acentrifugal planetary grinding machine together for once more grinding, so as to obtain a grinding material b; and conducting repeated grinding and elutriation to removing floating ash suspended on the water surface, drying, filtering and selecting raw material bodies meeting the proper requirements, and conducting multi-stage repeated grinding for multiple times, so as to finally grind the raw materials into ultrafine raw materials. The consistency of the particle size of powder generated in the grinding process of the raw materials and uniform distribution of multiple particle sizes during mixed grinding are guaranteed, the situation that grinding is not thorough due to high hardness difficulty is thoroughly changed, and the quality of fired and formed products is improved.
