The invention relates to the technical field of battery structures, and discloses a battery assembly and an unmanned aerial vehicle, the battery assembly comprises a battery compartment and a batterybody, the battery compartment forms a battery accommodating space with an opening in the top, the battery body comprises a battery upper shell and a battery locking device, and the battery upper shellcovers the opening of the battery accommodating space; the battery locking device comprises a handle, a lock catch and an elastic reset piece, and a lock catch moving hole is formed in the battery bin; two ends of the handle are arranged on the battery upper shell in a sliding manner; the lock catch is connected with the handle, and when the handle is in a flat state, one end of the lock catch extends into the lock catch moving hole to lock the battery upper shell and the battery bin; when the handle is in a lifting state, the lock catch slides out from the lock catch movable hole so as to unlock the battery upper shell and the battery bin; the elastic reset piece is arranged between the lock catch and the battery upper cover and provides reset force for the lock catch. According to the battery assembly, storage and self-locking of the battery assembly are completed through natural operation of taking and placing the battery body by a user, and the safety performance of the battery assembly is guaranteed.
