The invention discloses a negative ion formaldehyde-removing gypsum board which comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: 60-100 parts of gypsum powder, 30-70 parts of straw fibers, 3-7parts of diatom ooze, 5-9 parts of fine sand, 8-12 parts of a water reducing agent, 7-11 parts of negative ion powder, 20-60 parts of fruit shells, 6-10 parts of a foaming agent, 1-5 parts of a reinforcing agent and the balance of water. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: S1, mixing the gypsum powder, the straw fibers, the diatom ooze, the fine sand, the water reducing agent,1/2 of the foaming agent and the water to obtain a material A; S2, performing carbonization treatment and activation treatment on the fruit shells to obtain a material B; and S3, mixing the materialA and the material B, adding the reinforcing agent and the negative ion powder to obtain slurry, and carrying out extruding, cooling, molding and cutting. The gypsum board is reasonable and simple inraw material, low in investment cost, high in formaldehyde adsorption capacity, energy-saving, environment-friendly and suitable for popularization, and contains anions which are beneficial to physical and psychological health, and the service life of the gypsum board is prolonged.
