The invention discloses a method for preparing a single-phase pure cubic boron nitride poly-crystalline sintered body by taking cubic boron nitride micro powder as an initial raw material. The sintered body is good in heat resistance and high in hardness. The method comprises the following steps: 1, preferably selecting cubic boron nitride powder; 2, carrying out pre-pressing molding; 3, carryingout vacuum heat treatment; 4, assembling pyrophyllite synthetic block accessories; and 5, carrying out high-temperature and high-pressure sintering and the like, so as to complete the preparation of the single-phase pure cubic boron nitride poly-crystalline. The method disclosed by the invention is high in operability and is completed by one-time sintering on the existing cubic boron nitride poly-crystalline sintered body, and the wear resistance, the heat resistance, the hardness and the like of the single-phase cubic boron nitride poly-crystalline sintered body are greatly improved. The method provided by the invention provides an effective way for the preparation of a super-hard cutter material.
