The invention discloses a station foundation pit engineering cover excavation construction method. The method comprises the following steps that underground continuous walls located on the two sides of a station foundation pit and a plurality of columns located between the underground continuous walls on the two sides are constructed; the station foundation pit is excavated downwards in the soil body structure between the column body and the underground continuous walls on the two sides, and supporting pieces and cover plates located above the supporting pieces are installed; the station foundation pit is excavated downwards, and a suspension system located under the supporting pieces and the cover plates is installed between the underground continuous walls and the main body; and the supporting pieces are repeatedly excavated and installed till the supporting pieces are excavated to the bottom of the station foundation pit. In the process, the construction components required during construction, the dismantled supporting pieces and other structural components for connection can be transported through the suspension system. The method solves the problem that according to a traditional cover and excavation construction method, construction components in the area below a cover plate are difficult to transport.
