The ecological door and window comprises a window frame, upper louvre blade profiles are symmetrically arranged on the upper side of an inner cavity of the window frame, and lower louvre blade profiles corresponding to the upperlouvre blade profiles are symmetrically arranged at the lower side of the inner cavity of the window frame; side louvre blade profiles are fixedly installed at the two sides between the upper louvreblade profiles and the lower louvre blade profiles correspondingly, a transparent glass plate is fixedly installed between the upper louvre blade profiles and the lower louvre blade profiles, green plants can be cultivated on cultivation sponge through arrangement of the cultivation sponge, the transparent acrylic plate and air holes, and the transparent acrylic plate is used for light transmission; and light can irradiate the green plants cultivated on the cultivation sponge to perform photosynthesis, the air holes are used for enabling indoor carbon dioxide emissions to be absorbed by the green plants during photosynthesis of the green plants, generated oxygen is exhausted into a room through the air holes, and the effect of purifying indoor air is effectively achieved.
